This gave Zilla leverage cause Enra had to keep him alive at least until he could recover the Whisperer. But Zilla failed to secure the sword for Enra, so Enra backed out of the deal, which probably frightened Zilla so he kidnapped the final Whisperer so that even if Enra overran his position, which he did, he could not take the blade from Zilla. Later he seemed intent on using it to gain power, he was gonna give Enra the sword in exchange for the right to survive and the gaining of power. I think Zilla wanted to secure the blade because he knew of Enra's plans and simply wanted a way to guarantee his own survival. ![]() The sword was Zilla's guarantee he'd survive the invasion hence what he meant by leverage, then he realized he could force Enra's hand with it which is why he locked away the final Whisperer.Īs for Zilla's plan? The game left me a little confused. He knew Enra knew of it's general location and probably realized a invasion was under way especially since he was back room dealing with him before the attack. Zilla seemed pretty aware of the sword and it's legend. Wang probably felt that Zilla was gonna off him when his usefulness was over and decided to merely get the drop on him.Īs for the sword? It's merely business logic. Rich, powerful men aren't known for their loyalty and Zilla seemed an especially hard man to work for he already made it clear to Wang he blamed his "failure" for the invasion. ![]() First, I think Wang betrayed Zilla out of simple fear. I was also confused when we killed the twins in the explosion on the boat, it seemed unprovoked because we haven't been told anything about Wang's motivation for going against Zilla.Īlso, what was Zilla's plan? He wanted the sword that could kill the ancients for what reason? And why did he ally himself with Enra? ![]() Originally posted by DannyFilming:There was never an explanation given for this, when you first meet Zilla all that's said is that Wang has allied himself with Hoji.
